My scent bottles collection: I started my collection more than forty years ago. It now includes about 1000 pieces not taller than 9 cm (3 inches), from all over the world, from ancient times to 1960 and made from various materials.

913 Aventurine and lattimo scent bottle /Flacone in vetro lattimo e avventurina
Scent bottle made with two types of glass: aventurine and "lattimo" (milky), forming a feather pattern; brass mounted and hinged cap with glass stone; inner obsidian glass stopper; suspension chain and ring. It may be by Salviati. Italy, 1880 ca 3 cm diam
Flacone realizzato in due tipi di vetro: avventurina e "lattimo", che formano un motivo a piume; tappo in ottone montato e incernierato con pietra in vetro; tappo interno di vetro ossidiana; catena e anello di sospensione. Potrebbe essere di Salviati. Italia, 1880 c. 3 cm diam.
