Green glass scent bottle showing a cannon and some words in Bulgarian meaning " Society of Evil Glen Klisura" and the date of 1876 when many Bulgarian villages rebelled against the Ottoman Empire but were destroyed and the revolt drowned in blood. Klisura is a small town in Central Bulgaria located in a valley surrounded by the mountains . Its name has traditionally been associated with the heroism of its inhabitants during the April uprising when the village was a centre of the revolution and Borimechkata "the man who fights with a bear", who lived in the village was one of its leaders. The spirit of the rebels can be felt to the present day. A mile from Klisura is located a historical place called Zli Dol "evil Glen". Bulgaria, 1880 ca    4,5 cm

Flacone in vetro verde che mostra un cannone e alcune parole in bulgaro che significano "Società del male Glen Klisura" e la data 1876, quando molti villaggi bulgari si ribellarono all'Impero ottomano ma furono distrutti e la rivolta annegata nel sangue. Klisura è una piccola città della Bulgaria centrale situata in una valle circondata dalle montagne. Il suo nome è stato tradizionalmente associato all'eroismo dei suoi abitanti durante la rivolta di aprile quando il villaggio era un centro della rivoluzione e Borimechkata "l'uomo che combatte con un orso", che viveva nel villaggio era uno dei suoi leader. Lo spirito dei ribelli può essere sentito fino ai giorni nostri. A un miglio da Klisura si trova un luogo storico chiamato Zli Dol "Evil Glen".  Bulgaria, 1880 c.    4,5 cm
