Heart shaped porcelain scent bottle depicting Lawrence Chemist of Knaresborough, the oldest chemist shop in England, established in 1720 by John Beckwick. It became famous when P. Lawrence & Son took over in 1884 to 1965 (ceased trading in 1997).  Silver mount with screw cap; illegible marks.     England, 1910 ca    5 cm

Flacone in porcellana a forma di cuore raffigurante Lawrence Chemist di Knaresborough, la più antica farmacia in Inghilterra, fondata nel 1720 da John Beckwick. Divenne famoso quando P. Lawrence & Son subentrarono dal 1884 al 1965 ( ha cessato l'attività nel 1997).  Montatura in argento con tappo a vite; marchi illeggibili.           Inghilterra, 1910 c. 5 cm
