Couple of two bisque porcelain funny buddies called Maggots; the head, attached to a cork, is the stopper; the tongue goes in and out. The same model was later revived in the 1930s.  Germany, 18th Century       6 cm 

Coppia di due simpatici amici in porcellana bisquit chiamati Maggots; la testa, attaccata a un sughero, è il tappo; la lingua entra ed esce. Lo stesso modello venne successivamente ripreso negli anni '30.
